What are you doing to prepare for the second half of Season 1?

I'm baking cookies in the shape of the USS Discovery, I knitted a tardigrade costume for the cat, I'm dying my hair bright red and my hooves boots have just arrived from Amazon, so I'll be cosplaying Saru and Tilly's illegitimate love child while I rewatch the show in the backwards episode order in a mirror to discover the hidden messages.

I'm also lying on the internet about what I'm doing to prepare for the return of the show. :p

Too bad...sounded like a relatively reasonable expenditure of time and energy.

;)

Watch tv,movies go on the internet. Eat food and drink. Walk to loose weight and walk to get to places and sometimes sit when I don't want to go to other places. Sleep when I get sleepy.. Read some books which I am getting back into. See my thearphist. Feel lonely, horny, happy, sad, angry at various different points every day. Go groccery shoping. Talk to family and friends. Play pratical jokes on family because I love doing that. Think about death. Have hope and despair for the future. Feel Nostagic about the past. Poop and pee at various points in a day. Take medicine for my mental health issues. Pop my knuckles and feet because it's a habit I can't break. Scratch myself if I itch. Get various haircuts and also brush my teeth and take showers. Put on and take off clothes at various points in a day. Listen to music. Continue to fail at dying by keeping on living. I think that is about it.

Darn. I really wanted to see what discovery cookies looked like. :sigh:

If there's a long gap between seasons, I will occasionally rewatch a season finale to refresh my memory before the new season premieres. "Where did we leave off again?"

But DISCOVERY has only been gone for a month or so, so . . . .

For me discovery is a little different in that they don't have commercials and I subscribed to the service. Makes it easier to do a rewatch in a short amount of time.

I actually noticed something watching Forest last night. The first conversation between Lorca and Stamets is more interesting knowing what happens and maybe the possibility of being in a parallel universe.

What am I doing?

Debating whether I want to renew CBS All Access, honestly. I left off after "Lethe" and never caught up. I don't hate Discovery; it's that I've come to realize I don't care enough about this show to even hate it.

Why is it even a "debate" then? If your apathy for the show is so low you could care less, I'd say it is an easy decision to not renew. Then you don't need to worry about posting about it any more either.

I guess I'll switch on Netflix tomorrow and avoid the discussion thread until I've seen it. If I had more spare time, I'd possibly rewatch the first part but there's other stuff to do today:)

You know one thing everone could do is use this free time to watch "Orville" and compare. See witch show holds up the best to repeat viewings. Jason

That would require repeat viewings. I've got a TiVo full of unwatched stuff, not to mention Netflix. Rewatching shows just seems...odd. To me at least.

"What are you doing to prepare for the second half of Season 1?"

Contemplating my lesser enthusiasm due to the momentum killing break in the season. If you're gonna put a break in the middle of a season it better be fricken good when it comes back.

:edit:

All I did was copy and paste the thread title with quotes. Wth is up with that size bracket?

The system was mad that you were nervous that tonight's episode might not be fricken good!
