In other countries, quite a few prisons are very chill because they're actually trying to rehabilitate instead of make money. There's a prison in Spain that allows infant children to spent their first years with their incarcerated parents with cribs, play areas and everything.

I'm about to have 2 minute noodles because I'm not that hungry and taking apart an old camcorder. I love exploring old stuff like this that people chuck out.


BTW if anyone in Australia knows where to find cheap old video cameras hit me up. I tried ebay but they were asking the moon in terms of pricing. Some listings showed aussie dollars but they do a bait and switch sometimes when you click the actual listing it's US dollars when you factor in currency conversions and of course shipping difficulties which are still there.

I had a random thought about that what would the USA do if the DM was detected at the edge of our solar system

I'm outside walking around wearing black sweatpants. It's raining so I also have a dark coat with hood on, covering my head. Not one but two delivery trucks stop in front of the house to drop off packages. So here's me, in black with my face hidden and walking around in circles outside, then I go onto the porch to pick up the packages. Until I unlock the door, do the delivery drivers think I'm a porch pirate?

The thing is, it was so easy to do. No one else was outside, any neighbors looking out their window wouldn't have time to take a picture or try to come after me, the drivers didn't even notice me. So it sucks but it's not surprising that porch piracy happens all the time.

I haven't had a problem with porch pirates. It helps to have the porch 500 feet from the closest street. Also, the view of the porch from the street is blocked by the house.
