Only hot, can't be the caffeine because i drink my soda fine and I don't seem to get sick from the iced kind. Irt sucks because I need it. I suffer from fatigue and it's hard to function without my just gotten up coffee. :-/

Hey sorry you have the same problem. And thanks for the information. Thought of the full stomach thing too but not cold vs. hot was not anything but me wondering.I have the same problem. In my case, the problem is drinking coffee on an empty stomach.
The amount of caffeine in coffee is significantly higher than in colas so that's might be the reason you don't have a problem with sodas. As for iced coffee, it depends on how it's made but caffeine extraction is considerably higher in "hot" extraction than in "cold" extraction. It's the same reason as for the sodas - lower caffeine levels in the iced coffee.
