What are you doing at this moment?

Now I am an Official Old Person, I thought it was about time I turned my attention to "death cleaning".

I have just finished going through my collection of Star Trek novels. I've ended up keeping all the DS9 books (my favourite series) and the bulk of TNG (except for a few that I know I don't like and will never read again). The TOS books were harder to rationalise as there are just so many of them. I've kept the original Bantam novels (although many are quite batty!) and the few that stand out to me. As I did want to keep some others but didn't know how to make the decisions, I found @Sho 's list really helpful and have ruthlessly eliminated everything that the readers of TrekBBS rated at less than 3 out of 5. Total books cleared out - 189.

Having a break before I start on my collection of general fiction.

(Perhaps I should add the ST books will be going to a good home - they aren't being binned)

While waiting for a table at a restaurant, was outside watching an old lady driving a giant van trying to back into a parking space that was too small. Then my table was ready so I didn’t see how it ended.

Dinner and a show? At least part of one.

Started a load of laundry, then went to Costco for this week's groceries, came back home, and just hung the finished wash on the line. Now time to run errands, first pick up medication at the local pharmacy, then off to the Credit Union to cash in fully matured savings bonds.

Watching the First Harry Potter, for the Elevendyith Time!

Casting remains Supreme, but I forgot how Utterly Excellent Alan Rickman was!!! ❤️
Ok, so from the moment Dumbledore awards Neville Longbottom 10 points, until “roll credits”, I think I used about 12 facial tissues for tears…and, yes, I know of the J, K. Rowling issues…

Workers are here to replace an appliance and they just left the truck running. I doubt anyone will steal it, but they could be here a while and are just letting the truck burn fuel.

somewhatwatching The Last Witch Hunter on SyFy.

then rest of today/tonight im watching classic 1980s movie Vice Versa on Tubi along with some other stuff that popped up on Tubi like a documentary about X Play/ Attack the Show

Just fixed a BLT with garden fresh tomatoes and jalapeño peppers, and now sitting down to listen to this week's podcast of Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me! from NPR.

I love a good BLT.

Right now, getting ready for bed.
