Listening to this week's podcast of Wait Wait... Don't Tell Me!
Just got home, put the leftovers in the fridge, went back to the car to get the groceries, sat down at my computer. Five minutes in, I saw something I want to text my brother about, but my phones not by by keyboard. I go to the car -- phone's not there. I'm thinking I have to go back to the restaurant to get my phone. On a whim, I open the fridge, and there's my phone under the takeout box. Doh!!
Playing Warhammer with friends via Zoom.
Taking water from the Irrigation District, like every Sunday since May. Involves calling the Canal Rider for permission, opening valves on the property, walking a quarter of a mile each way to turn on a valve at the Irrigation District pipeline. As areas get watered on the property, start closing the valves, then tonight, walk a quarter mile back to the pipeline, to shut the Irrigation District valve. I'll get a good look at the Perseid Meteor shower (just below Cassiopeia) in the north-east this evening.
I deface them and then mail them back to the politicians.
Staring at the computer, with nothing to do, nowhere to go. Just sitting.
Again, did not want to cook much. So, I'm just whipping up some box macaroni and cheese. And adding some frozen Texas toast. Probably will be drinking milk with it. And peaking in a few different websites.
