Just woke up.
just came home from work. The heat is lethal today.
Getting ready to train a bunch of new employees online.

Pausing/procrastinating while filling out a report for work. I'm an independent contractor, and the people paying me want to know what I did. Then I get to wait a whole month-plus to get paid. "Hurry up and wait!"
Basically waiting for the workday to be over so I can go to the comic book store and get the latest Previews catalog.
trying to avoid any movement. It's too hot to do more than breathing.
I’m in a scorching car in the supermarket carpark waiting for my laundry to dry. All the windows are open and there is an occasional cooling breeze bringing the scent of the sea, but my black jeans are burning in the sun, hot enough to do eggs, sunny side up.
I’d sit out side, but there’s no shade and I haven’t finished peeling from last week.
I’m thinking, next stop Aldi, get some rose and fruity cider in the cooler!

Fortifying myself with some gin and tonics after mowing the lawn.
I am not sure if Aldi in your country has the same assortment as Aldi Germany, but both their walnut and their vanilla ice cream over here are pretty good.
I'm atm packing for a weekend with my family. My parents are both in their 80s and so the berry patch hasn't gotten weeded all year. Some of that ground elder needs to be felled with a chain saw! I started 2 weeks ago and the weeds torn from a 3 m² patch (roughly 30 squarefeet) made one car load (boot/trunk plus back seats). Only 200m² left.....
I think many of the things in Aldi will be similar to in Germany, though U.K. brands and suppliers are increasingly present. Lots of German cooked meats though.
