What are you doing at this moment?

Catching some sofa time between getting home and peeling some spuds, stripping yesterday’s carcas and making a most delectable Chinese curry with chips.

Watching an old movie on tv, The Bishop's Wife, starring Cary Grant, Loretta Young, and David Niven. Also knitting a blanket for my granddaughter.

It’s 6pm. I’m just back from work, knackered, and now I have to go shopping for tonight’s dinner. Something that requires zero effort. And I’m craving wine.

Waiting for one of my co-workers to get out of a meeting so that they can confirm that I'm doing this thing they just trained me on correctly, and will not totally fuck up the system and cost us $3000 when I click "Enter."

It's surprising just how much of my job has seemed to consist of either waiting for other people to do their jobs, or waiting for them to get out of meetings (which I suppose is something similar, since in my experience, many meetings are just things that keep me from doing any real work.)

Just watching and listening to the wind outside. I was surprised to see just now that the wind does in fact bend the glass enough to distort light passing through it.
