You're not going to believe this, but it is 7:02 am and I just finished watching DS9 "The Muse". I watch Star Trek a great deal lately. My adult son has been diagnosed with Schizophrenia. I find escaping into the future where all these diseases can be fixed somehow makes life bearable; it gives me a break. I often say "I go to bed at night, and I awaken to my worst nightmare".
I've just found a new book, however and I'm beginning to read "I Am Not Sick. I Don't Need Help", a book that is suppose to help families of the Schizophrenic-effected help their afflicted loved ones. Fingers crossed that this will help me help him.
But when I need a break, I'll continue to watch and re-watch these images of utopian future even if I don't live there. So you guys are stuck with me..
