It was in the west halfway between Venus and Arcturus. I live in the country and could easily see the comet without the binoculars even though the moon was near full and behind me. The nucleus, coma and tail completely filled the eyepiece of the binoculars and the view was spectacular. I used a tractor bucket arm to rest my elbows on and keep the binoculars steady. I did have to fight off mosquitoes and a tomcat that jumped on the front tractor tire and started to climb up my chest. I didn't get out the 8" telescope as I wouldn't have been able to view the entire comet in the eyepiece at one time, but only sections of it.I ain't gonna say it...![]()
