Sitting on pins and needles in the hotel Waiting for Hurricane Milton. We're not in an evacuation zone so hopefully we'll be okay. Not sure about my house though but it still doesn't have any walls.

My cousin and her family (husband and daughter) are living kind of near where Milton's coming but I don't think they're in the direct lne of fire.

I just saw that last night on my local weather home page (no I don't live there they warn about everything). I hope you stay safe. The last one I have been through here on the east coast USA was 2007ish and it was a biggy.
Doing laundry and listening to Billy Joel
We're doing okay. The hotel lost power for about 15 hours but luckily we mostly just had a lot of wind. Lost a couple of big palm trees at our house but no further damage to the house at least.
Copying files between different external hard drives as I try and make some space on one of them so that I can copy a 2TB directory before I get my new computer.
Listening to the Yankees/Royals playoff game
Having a salad and listening to Journey.
Eating dinner. Some pasta.
Listening to TOOL and, once again, procrastinating.
Watching Bathurst as I think about making some lunch sometime soon.
Playing Call of Cthulhu.
Eating some sugar free chocolate pudding while listening to 'Rappers Delight'.
Watching door cam videos and getting drowsy.
