Spoilers What are the reasons for not using LCARS anymore, in the 32nd century?

I'm inclined to think that holographic interfaces were around long before the founding of the Federation, but they were even less durable than the circuit breakers on a starship bridge console. ;) Maybe there were more advanced interface systems in use in private homes and business offices, but LCARS was long favored for deep-space operations for being more rugged and less likely to completely go out during a systems failure. In such a case, that philosophy of "dependability-over-sophistication" may have been shared by the Klingons, the Romulans, etc.
