What are the catchiest songs of all time?

R.E.M.'s 'It's the End of the World as We Know It' has been stuck in my head for several days, for reasons that should be obvious.

What are your earworms? What songs always get caught in your head.

Bonus points for YouTube videos. ;)

It tends to be whatever song I've been listening to recently. Currently it's Mikey Wax's "Remember."

Have a few:

My top 4 catchiest songs ever:

1. The B52s - Love Shack: (this one was a total no-brainer)
[yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=leohcvmf8kM[/yt]

2. The Commodores - Brick House:
[yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rrBx6mAWYPU[/yt]

3. Lindsay Buckingham - Holiday Road:

4. The Police - Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic:

Go ahead. Try and get 'em out of your head now. :p

A few other worthy candidates:

Cake - Short Skirt/Long Jacket:

Queen - Crazy Little Thing Called Love:
[yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zO6D_BAuYCI[/yt]

Crowded House - Now We're Getting Somewhere:
[yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9jd1Z1QIrF4[/yt]

Culture Club - Karma Chameleon:
[yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmcA9LIIXWw[/yt]

Talking Heads - Burning Down The House:

Yes...I spent a large chunk of the 80's in front of MTV.

Okay...last ones and I'm turning YouTube off. These two are both really long versions, but worth it.

Dire Straits: Sultans of Swing: (from Live Aid, where they had the 2nd best set of the gig, after Queen)
[yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plsMlX-qYP8[/yt]

Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band - Rosalita: (from what is widely regarded as the best set The Boss ever played - Passaic, NJ, 19 September, 1978)

[yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cv0OmgE3FH0[/yt]

By the way, this Springsteen footage was at one time one of the most coveted of all "Holy Grails" for Springsteen collectors/fans, because this show was so epic. :)

And since I had to edit this post anyway, everyone's currently favorite catchy song:

:bolian: to many here, esp. B-52s. I love this one, esp the video...

And Pizzicato Five created insanely catchy pop songs, of which this is one of best...

See I'd always give that as an example of a hit song that wasn't catchy at all - I know of the song, I recognise it and I know that I like it. But I will never remember how it goes until I listen to it, and soon after I've forgotten again.

In my head at the moment is this:

Recently exited (until this thread :scream:):

More long term, I keep going back to:

The theme to Robot Chicken. Seriously. You try keeping a straight face when you're looking at some sour old lady (customer) and all you can hear in your mind is "Bawk bawk bawk..."

Two songs (and bands for that matter) chock full of juicy pop goodness...

A few more reasonable candidates:

Santana & Rob Thomas - Smooth:

Jane's Addiction - Been Caught Stealing:

[yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jrwjiO1MCVs[/yt]

The Ramones - I Believe In Miracles:
