What are the Actors up to?

I haven't seen any of the enterprise crew these past years.

Save when archer showed up on Boston legal.

Where the hell is T'Pol at? she was a good actress, and Trip too!

BTW I know their real names, but I always call them by character names

Connor (Trip) has been a semi-regular villain on Stargate: Atlantis. He's also had a variety of guest spots on TV, his latest on Criminal Minds.

Connor will also be on 24. To me it seems that John gets the most work in guest rolls.

Dominic Keating had a brief stint in season 2 of Heroes if I remember correctly and the last thing I saw Jolene Blalock in was Starship Troopers. I've not seen the rest of the cast in much else though...

John Billingsley was in The Nine wasn't he? It didn't last long as I remember.

(I could check wikipedia and imdb, but it's more fun doing it this way ;))

Oh yes, John (Phlox) has been seen several times as Mike, the funeral director/city morgue on True Blood on HBO this season. If the show follows the next book, he'll be on the second season too.

I have never watched 24, but Connor did say he was on the episode from 10 to 11. I think he said PM, but I cant remember! He also has a movie that should be on soon on the Sci Fi Channel..and the Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Jolene is going to gueststar in the TBS comedy series 10 Items or less episode 3 according to Imdb.com.The show is coming back to TBS on January 6.I also read in a recent interview she wants to star in a comedy movie.

I haven't really kept up with any of them, but I know a couple have broken through the sci-fi noose that seems to get a lot of Star Trek actors.

Scott Bakula is going to be in a feature film as a main character with Matt Damon called "The Informant," directed by Steven Soderbergh. He's also been a guest star on a few things since Enterprise, like the New Adventures of the Old Christine.

John Billingsley was on a short-lived show that looked interesting called The Nine. According to IMDB, he has guest starred a lot on non-sci-fi shows like Eli Stone, 24, Without a Trace and Gray's Anatomy. I'd like to see him again. I think he was the best actor on Enterprise. He made a stereotypical character break through the Neelix barrier and be interesting.

Connor:
guest on Numb3rs (ep. called Toxin)
NCIS (Jeopardy)
Close to Home (Privilege)
Without a Trace (Fade Away)
Criminal Minds (don't recall the name of the ep)
Stargate Atlantis (episodes: Michael, No Man's Land, Misbegotten, Vengeance, The Kindred (Parts I & II) Search and Rescue, and The Prodigal).
made a movie recently called "Termination Shock" and of course previously mentioned eps of "24" and "Sarah Connor Chronicles"

Jolene: Slow Burn (movie) and I Dream of Murder (tv movie)

Dominic: one of the "Species" movies

Anthony: some movie called something like "I'm Through With White Girls" (and a cameo on NCIS).

Linda was in a couple of TV series (names elude me)

John of course was in "The Nine." He also had a guest appearance on NCIS, as did Matt Winston (Daniels).

Scott was on Boston Legal, and also some cable show where he plays a one-legged Scott Bakula impersonator. And he was awesome as the patriarch in the musical "Shenandoah" at Ford's Theater in Washington, DC.

Looks like a few already answered, but:

Jolene Blalock was recently in the direct-to-DVD 'Starship Troopers: Marauder' film; and even before that I recall her in the film 'Slow Burn.'

Anthony Montgomery was in a film called 'An American in China' (which sounded somewhat interesting, but I haven't heard of any release date). Apparently he was in a direct-to-DVD movie called 'I'm Through with White Girls..'

Linda Park was in the cancelled Jeff Goldblum show, 'Raines'...but now seems to be on the show, 'Women's Murder Club.'

Women's Murder club was canceled by ABC. Jolene was also in the movie Shadow puppets in a recent interview she said she didn't like it. And a movie called First Fear that hasn't been released yet.

It really goes to show that a starring role in a Star Trek show is a guarantee of nothing. None of these roles, perhaps with the exception of Jolene in Starship Troopers 3 (which was straight to video) really highlight or star the ENT cast.

They seem to be faring better than the cast of Galaxy Quest, but not by much, I am sad to say.

It's a damn shame too, Pretty much all of them were good actors.

Jolene surprises me the most, considering how hot she was, combined with obvious acting talent, starship troopers three seems beneath her to me

I agree. Given how prominently she was featured on ENT, and how well she did the part, it did seem like a step down. I thought she did a good job with it, but it certainly was not at the level of the material she was doing on ENT. Maybe it was the best thing she had been offered. I tell ya, acting has got to be one of the toughest professions.

There are two problems in Hollywood today:

-- Movies are so expensive, film producers are not inclined to do what Lucas did with "Star Wars" ... hire three unknowns to carry his film.
-- "Reality" junk TV has usurped series that call for actors.

There's no work.

ETA: Connor's NCIS episode is going to air on USA Network at 7 p.m. EST Jan. 19.

Well, to be fair, we recall Blalock thought ENT had its own issues with storytelling (and what have not); and thought it could have been better.

Moreover, not too many (outside fans of Trek) knew of ENT.

On the other hand, Starship Troopers has its own fans; and I'm sure many were happy to have Joelene Blalock onboard. (Although, considering the clips I saw...THAT film could have been a bit better).

To add to your point: Yes, acting is pretty difficult. It seems that not only talent, but having popularity (popularity even more so; or being the 'in' actor/actress) is a requirement.

I only saw about 1 half of it, and not even Jolene is worth wasting the time on that peace of junk. It's a shame that Jolene can't get a decent gig, AFAIK she doesn't really need the money, so why humiliate herself like that? And don't even get me started on "Shadow Puppets," that one makes "SW Holiday Special" seem like an Oscar-worthy material.
