What are some god sci fi comedies?

I think Star Trek V is a fine example of a god sci fi comedy...

...or perhaps, more of a tragedy...

Back to the Future, Men in Black, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Flubber, Weird Science. Comedy, with its implausible plots, tends to be even more a matter of personal taste than drama, though.

Someone's going to mention Red Dwarf - let me get in first and say I found it as funny as the clap.

Galaxy Quest

Spaceballs

Ice Pirates

(Princess Bride...not sure it's SciFi, but they bring a guy back from the [almost] dead ;) )

Sleeper - Woody Allen

Tremors

Idiocracy

and that David Duchovny movie where they used the mutated yellow "happy face" logo-can't remember the name but I remember laughing like a maniac at it.

While I love British humour, I could never get into Red Dwarf, either.

Galaxy Quest and Futurama are my top choices. :techman:

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. NOT the film. The film was fun, but utterly sucked compared to all earlier incarnations. Try the BBC Radio shows, BBC television series, or the books.

The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. is a steampunk sci-fi sorta show. Great all around even if you prefer to consider it more of a western. Bruce Campbell. Nuff said.
