What an annoying place for a blister

That would be completely unnecessary and expensive.
I've had blisters -- not big and extremely painful -- but I've had them. And when they broke, the fluid was CLEAR.

If you're expecting this one to BLEED when it breaks, go to a doctor!

Well, I'm calling it a blister. Truth be told, I don't think I've ever had a real blister before. For all I know, this is just a giant zit.

I've had many hundreds of blisters. Does it look and feel like a thin layer of skin over a bunch of water? If so, it's a blister and will go away by itself. If it feels firm or the fluid is milky then it's probably an infection (from something like an ingrown hair.) If that's the case it likely needs lancing and treatment with topical antibiotics. If it gets bigger you might need to see a nurse or doctor who will probably put you on oral antibiotics.
