As one off writers I'd like to see some of Trek writers come back including Manny Coto, Ira Behr and Robert Hewitt Wolfe, Ron Moore and even Brannon Braga amongst others (I don't expect any of this to happen). I loved Kevin Falls work on Journeyman and Marty Isenberg's work on Transfomers Animated.

I would be curious to see what he would do with it....snappy witty dialogue between officers who are walking at break neck speed down the corridors talking about things that will have great repercussions on the galaxy.

Just thinking about what he would do with techno bable makes my head hurt.

Although Sorkin did do that one episode of West Wing where he gently poked fun at Trek fans. It wasn't too bad...but it was there.
