What a wonderful week this was...

Thespeckledkiwi

Vice Admiral
Technically speaking my weeks start on Tuesday and end on Saturday. A small shift because of my work schedule, so today (Monday) is actually my Sunday. But it was a fun week even though it started off a little rough.

First and foremost, I got to meet someone on this board who is a wonderful, wonderful person. I've met them a few times before but every time I meet them, I'm simply awe-struck at how great and wonderful of a person they are :).

Secondly, I got to tell someone it is rude for people to ask me to eat something. Yes I've lost a little bit of weight (around 5 lbs) but I'm comfortable at around 105 lbs right now. I simply don't feel like eating because I'm busy or because I don't like eating. I'm tired of people telling me I'm too skinny. Well too bad. My metabolism and my eating habits make me the way I am. I can eat one meal a day and be fine with it.

Third, I have friends :) Amazing isn't it? It took me a while to figure out who they are. And I talk to them when I can. But they are supportive and always asking what I've been doing and if I'm doing okay. They worry when they don't see me, which is a strange feeling.

Fourth, and finally I don't think I'm crazy. I think I've just had -er- one too many concussions. Which explains the headaches, the dizziness and my moodiness. Well actually it could be a combination of things. And I'm fine with that. My choice, my life.

So yay! Good week and hopefully this week will continue to go stronger.

BTW this began when I rescued a poor little helpless cricket with one leg. Poor thing was lost in Target and I was afraid it might get stepped on, so I scooped him up and set him outside >< presumably to get eaten but nonetheless, rather than stepped on.

That's great. :bolian: I hope you continue to have good weeks. Hopefully even better ones. :)

I live in the Northeast. No wonder we've never met. :D

But if you are ever coming to the Boston area, be sure to let me know. :)

I know how you are feeling. I actually met my girlfriend 3 years ago. But we were in a different places with our lives. We rarely saw each other when I still lived in Maryland. We never emailer each other even though we knew who the other was. But when I got back in school, the magic began. We have gotten incredibly close and wildly in love.

That's wonderful! My week has turned from being depressing to maybe a good start. :) Or maybe it'll be next week that'll be good..I hope so!
