What a view!!!

Of all the places you have seen in star trek that might have a great view, which would you like to see?

For example; I love the large Mushroom shaped Starbase that is above Earth. I would love to go there, see all the Starships in the docking bays, and then look out a window upon Earth and all her glory.

What view, and from where, would you like to see if you could tour the TREK universe...

A strip club on Kronos. lol

A klingon strip club...you know? I have never thought of that, but I bet some of these star trek worlds have some pretty awesome 'red light' districts. I wonder if those Klingon strippers have Targ's in their act as well, like the women in TJ?

I'd like to stand atop the tallest building in the Federation's largest city. There might be a Coruscant-type world somewhere in the Federation, especially on a world where the natives have been going to the stars for millennia. the single contient on Denobula with 12 billion souls comes to mind.

i like that one. Only other one i could think of is the view of Earth herself, alone, as Picard and Lily saw in FC. That view always sticks in my mind.

Yes it did..that was a great scene.

Another one I like, even though its an obvious CGI, is the view of Romulas, or Goldon Thorg, or whatever is when that defecting Admiral Jarok is in the holodeck with Data...if they ever give TNG a brush-up, they should improve that even more...

Another great view would have been what Kirk and Sulu saw in XI when they were zooming down in those parachutes. That does look like fun!! I WOULD never do it because I'm a chicken...but..then again..maybe!

Seven of Nine’s shower.

Second place: on the upper level with Jake and Nog, watching the people go by on the Promenade and the ships going through the wormhole. Come to think of it, it would be fun to take a ship and just keep going back and forth through the wormhole for a while. Those effects are cool.

Yep. Me and Seven, naked, going through the wormhole. That’s the life.

All I ever wanted was to get back to Cardassia Prime before it got messed up by that colossal idiot Dukat and the thrice blasted founders. But did I get the chance? Did I get the chance? Nooooooo! Thanks a lot, Enabran. :cardie:

I actually would love to see the Murasaki Nebula as it was shown in the remastered episode of TOS.

That and Starbase Eleven from 'Court Martial'

The first thing that came to mind was one of those holodeck scenes Wesley was showing that alien girl he had a crush on. If there were really vantage points in the Galaxy where you could see entire Nebulas as if they were pictures in books it would be amazing.

For as long as I've been watching Trek, I've loved the castle on Holberg 917G, or Rigel VII. I even love the remastered citedel painting. That's where I'd love to go.

a strip club on Orion I

the firefalls of Galgathong on Romulus

Kang's Summit on Qo'nos

the shuttlebay of a starship looking out over Earth, behind the containment field.

Hey!! What Cardassia needs now are strong people to come back and rebuild their once great world. So stop your crying, get on the next transport vessel, and get up there and help clean that place up and start over!

That's the one that popped into my mind as well.

I'm kind of boring like that.

I'm going to go with one that might not be immediately obvious - the view from a small, well-provisioned ship (maybe a runabout) just floating casually around the Surplus Depots of Qualor II. The chance to see all those different ships, from all those different civilizations, would be awesome. Some might see a junkyard, but I'd see an art gallery. :bolian:

Sitting at the windows at Ten Forward.

Seeing planets, nebulas, in going to warp would be amazing to see, in person

^This! Plus sights similar to the TNG season 4 opening credits. Worlds, stars, and phenomena the likes of which no one has ever seen before. The humbling experience of those sights on a 5 year mission would probably result in tears on finally seeing the earth come into view on the return home.
