All you're missing is the rim shot......

It's a nice poster, but I've always felt "Classic Trekkin" from Chuck Frazier captures all things TOS--and you get Roger Carmel's likeness!

It looked cool at first, but then I noticed there was a bunch of crap from the remastered addition. Also I couldn't find Marlena Moreau. Well that poster just screwed the pooch.
Is that too harsh? It's my first time using the phrase. I was intending it to mean "bit the dust", "fell short", "crapped out." I'm willing to go back and change it if my usage was incorrect.A little harsh? All I see are the new SS Antares, (actually the robot grain ship from "More Tribbles More Troubles") and the Aurora. There is also Franz Joseph's Starfleet Headquarters. Anything I missed?
We all love the things we love. Some love other things better than we do. Both posters are excellently done, and capture both the show, and the artist's style, in very flattering ways.
That said, this poster was done while Roger Carmel was still alive to agree to the inclusion.
That poster is described as being published in 1989, Carmel died in 1986.
Or maybe the artist was just ignorant of the rule or didn't bother to get permission and just decided to make it look as much like Carmel as he could. It happens. So, this could mean the Carmel estate was authorizing the use of Roger Carmel's likeness at least in the 1980s--up to the time "Classic Trekkin" piece was created.
