Weyoun 6 could have been so much more

(My first post idk if I’m doing it right) Weyoun 6 could have been such a good plot device!!!! Him struggling between his past and his new beliefs and the role he was willing to play by giving up dominion information. I understand he’d be too much of a benefit to the federation. He’s a high ranking Vorta who knows a lot it might have been uninteresting to watch DS9 if the good guys suddenly got all the info they needed at once. Maybe I’m biased because he’s one of my favorite characters but I think a living Weyoun 6 could have been a cool plot point even if just for a few more episodes!

I dunno. It made a great plot for 1 episode, but I'm not sure there's enough there for it to stretch to two episodes, let alone 3 or 4. Killing Weyoun 6 would suddenly be the Dominion's highest priority in the Alpha Quadrant, both because of him sharing quite a lot of intelligence and because a disloyal Weyoun would be terribly harmful to the reputation for godhood and invincibility the Dominion has worked so hard to achieve. And I really liked the ending with Weyoun 6 committing suicide rather than put the Founder at risk, and dying with his god blessing him.

(Spoiler alert: the Federation was going to win the war SOMEHOW. This is not the kind of show where the bad guys win, except in a certain holosuite program.)
