Weren't the nineties great?

Ahh the good old 90's i kinda remember them well. got my first real girlfriend, first break up, stoned for the early part of it then got my first proper job which i'm still in now.
great music and films. sometimes wish it was those days again.

So do I, if only for the fact that my mom was still alive.

Been missing her lately.:(

The 90's music scene was great here. Triple J went national. The start of the BDO and Homebake.

Lots of great TV shows also.

I'm gonna have to go with the 80's. My Chess King jacket, jeans, white high-top sneakers. Saint Elmo's Fire/Breakfast Club....Back to the Future. We are the World. Hitting the clubs in downtown Boston listening to Michael Jackson on the dance floor. Experiencing MTV for the first time. Still enjoying drive-in movies (saw a "Flashdance/Footloose" double feature with my girl friend). Not being especially political but actually digging Ronny Reagan on occasion. Having a suitcase with a whole bunch of music cassettes in the back seat of my car...I could go on and on....

Me either. My last grandparent died, my mom shot herself, my employer went bankrupt twice (two different companies) and I was diagnosed with cancer for the first time in 1997.

Like the 70s, I try hard not to think about the 90s.

I think it's funny watching 90s tv . . . every once in a while a character will say something silly and old fashioned, and another will say "C'mon, it's the Nineties! Get with the program!"
:guffaw:

That's a problem for any time, dating yourself.

:wah:

Mid and late 90's wasn't so hot for me either. But seeing your post makes me not feel sorry for myself as there is always someone else who is worse off.
