captain underpants here, reporting for duty. i am new to watching voyager. i am waiting to be able to afford to buy the last two seasons of the series so i can see how it ends. kate mulgrew as captain janeway was brilliant.it's sad the emmys didn't recognize her. jeri ryan is my fave however. seven is also a great character. love belanna, wish they would have had more interaction betwen these three women. i am part of the minority group hollywood tends to ignore, middle-aged female. kathryn janeway is a character i can relate to. glad to be here and am lookng forward to hearing all about voyager through your lovely souls. peace, captain U.

Last year I spent a couple of months back home in Serbia, and a Croatian chanel on cable provided me with the only available Trek fix--Voyager, which I had never seen much of prior to that. In that time, I got to see most of the first three seasons, and have to say that I've enjoyed most of the episodes that came my way. I think all the Voyager bashing is a bit excessive. :D

I've probably only posted less than 5 times in here, I just wanted to ask a question. And I didn't want to start up a new thread, so I'm going to ask it here, hope no one minds.

About 6 minutes in the Doctor says the following:

Did I miss something, or is that it? If that's all, it's a bit weak hey?

Thanks for the information, and please don't spoil anything further than this episode. I was usually preoccupied while watching S1-3 because I find it a little boring, but I doubt I missed something this big.

That was after Neelix and Kes broke up. There wasn't much screen time given to their breakup and the reasons behind it, so I think this was the writers' way of letting us know that the breakup did, in fact, have an effect on Neelex.
 
Hello, I have been on the Trek BBS for almost a year, but am a relative newbie to the VGR crew. I'm glad to be joining in the discussions, & I wholeheartedly regret not seeing the show when it was first-run. I have seen every ep up to mid-point of S6 now & have to say, the show is better than a lot of fans elude to! I am ready to share & discuss opinions & banter with all of you, & help me out if you can because the show is still kind of "new" to me. :borg: I have been assimilated, I will comply!
