Welcome new Voyager fans!

My name is USS_Britain, i live in Gloucester, England and i am 22 Years old and i really like all Sci-Fi Programmes including Star Trek and Doctor Who.

I have also put this in the TNG Section as well.

Hi guys *waves madly*

I'm a voyager fan as well...my favourite character being The Doctor naturally :techman:

Hello USS Britain. My husband lived in Gloucester a looonnngggg time ago, it's the only 'Southern' town either of us has ever lived in and he remembers it as being much warmer than up here in the Frozen North of England!

You obviously have magnificent taste anyway :techman: Hope you enjoy the Doctor Who tonight, no more David Tennant, sigh.

Hope to see more of you here.

I am as yet a Star Trek Voyager virgin ,
watched all DS9 and the Next Generation,

Cant wait to finish downloading voyager ,
and see what enemies await ...

Been a fan of all things Trek for decades now. I watched VOY throughout its original broadcast but warmed up to it even more during reruns. Like other Treks, it's had its share of great episodes and lemons. I always found VOY was at its best in the two-part shows, unlike TNG. I would put something like "Equinox" up against the best of all other Treks.

Howdy, after having gone through all 7 seasons of both TNG and DS9 on DVD i have started on VYG. Ive nearly finished the 1st season and i must say im very impressed!

One of the things I liked about Voyager, was the way the seasons changed. The first year it was a journey of 70,000 light years which began with the first order,"Engage." Then slowly, over the first 2 years, reality starts to settle in... running out of supplies, running into enemies, discovering enemies within their own midst.

By season 3, shortages and futility are just another factor in normal living, and they all start to have fun with their predicament. By season 5, however, everyone is just TIRED and they discover the truth in the old saying, "We have met the enemy, and the enemy is us!"

Season 6 & 7 heals old wounds and we see our crew become the professional wayfarers that they are. Seeking out new worlds, and new civilizations, as they try to boldy go where they haven't been for many years. Back home.

Enjoy the ride, I certainly did.

I'm not sure what's so funny. I thought it was a very good summation myself.

Oh, and welcome to Lt.Cmdr.LaForge. :)

Hi everyone,

Iv just joined. Iv grown up with Star Trek, as I was just a nipper when it started. I used to hide behind the sofa and watch it over the top. My fav is Voyager, not sure why since Iv watched the lot. Probably as I just love Captain Janeway, she's very much a mentor for me.

I live in London UK, with my Dad, brother and the Dog.

welcome I love Voyager I think it is great, I think Captain Janeway is a pioneer for what she has done and I think she is a great captain.

Hi. I just joined. I've wanted to for some time, but somehow never got around to actually do it ;) *Janeway-style*. I love Voyager and have been watching for several years. I just ordered Seasons 2 and 5 on DVD to finally complete my collection!

Actually, I'm looking for something like "I need help finding a specific episode" but I can't seem to find that kind of thread. Maybe someone can help me find my way :D

Start a thread and ask away. We're a helpful bunch ... most of the time. Welcome!
