I started reading the Voy novels this summer because I heard a horrid rumor about the death of a FANTASTIC Captain... and nearly died myself when I discovered it was true. :-( So now I'm on a pilgrimage to Voyager websites, seeking like minded fans who will remind me of the eternal Roddenbury truth. "Novels are NOT canon!" Hi all !

There's a Janeway Lives Campaign elsewhere on the net & also a Story Challenge if you are interested, KJ forever!
Is that the "write a resurrection" story challenge? Since I refuse to believe the character could have been eaten by a wall,
then I can't write her resurrection. Now, if the challenge allowed you to ignore her death completely... THAT story challenge I would be willing to take on.

Well, I didn't want to believe it either, but unfortunately it's in print & on the record, altho not-canon, so I was happy to take comfort in the wonderful stories of the Janeway Lives writers (and any great reunions w/ Chakotay, excellent), and the fellowship of those other pro-KJ writers. Also, still love the stories of those who do not recognize that rather sad universe, of course. Either way, Janeway lives, hooray! GS

Hiyas to all-and aren't they INDEED welcome-new STV fans! Janeway does rule, and glad I can say it here without fear of a torpedo up my impulse vent!LOL! Thankfully we STV fan-writers are not constrained, even BY canon, if we so wish. I never have been, especially where a certain Ocampa is concerned. May we all keep the Voyager fan flame alive....

My older daughter was born on the very day the first episode of Voyager aired - 16 January 1995, so I can never forget it! Although, I think I have a fairly good excuse for not watching that day!

I've been a big ST-fan for almost 15 years.
My favourite ST-series is DS9 but I love TNG and Voyager as well.
I've just re-watched Season 4 of Voyager on DVD.
IMO this season had a couple of great episodes (e.g. ''Scorpion, Part II'', ''Revulsion'', ''Year Of Hell'', ''Waking Moments'', ''Hunters''/''Prey'', ''Living Witness'', ''One'', ''Hope And Fear'').
