Welcome new Voyager fans!

I'd hate to be a downer here, but in case you didn't know, one of our very own, Nibbles has passed away. There is a pinned thread in the Misc. Forum. :(

Just stopping in to say "Hey!"

...Voyager's my favorite series so I just wanted to say that on another thread! :)

Just wanted to say hi :). We finished watching TNG (all seasons) and now moved on to Voyager. Are now in the middle of season two. So far I've enjoyed it immensly. Funny I never watched it when it was new on TV although I've always been into science fiction. On the other hand, all episodes are new to me. :)

Hey, juni. Welcome to the Voyagers' Forum. :D

Well, hey, if ya haven't seen 'em! I'd be the same way if I ever get 'round to pickin' up the 6th & 7th seasons on DVD.

Hey what do ya know? Of all the places to run into your husband on the net. :) Juni is my other half. I never got to watch TNG when I was younger because you just didn't watch trek in my family without some ridicule.. and that's from parents. My friends were all trekkies though, so I got it through osmosis.

I started watching Voyager in college...because once again all my friends were trekkies, but was interrupted when I had to move to Finland because I met that pesky Juni guy.

They've shown tng, ds9 and voy here on Finnish tv, but never the entire run of any one series. They'll show a season or two of something here or there and always at different times. No Enterprise here, and I'm not even sure they completed the tng, ds9 or voy runs either.

Only way to see it is on dvd... which we're doing now.

Seeing so many episodes of something at once, the plot you can follow, but episode names? Not-so-much. I'm sure we'll remedy that on the second and third times. :)

Yup. It's also an early form of chanting I think, but yeah.. it's sort of one of our songs.

I've just bought season 5 now, have slowly been getting them after being 'converted' by my gf, hehehe

One thing that amazes me: how do you know the names of each episode by heart?
I was telling her the other day that I need to make an 'easy-reference' list from the dvds, for consultation when I come to this forum

It ain't that tough - they show 'em at the beginning of every episode!

If ya gotta reference, save yourself a headache, and use StarTrek.com

 If I memorised everything just by seeing it once a few months ago, I'd know far more german vocabulary than I actually do!
