Finished my rewatch tonight. I'm hoping some of the threads left over from the finale continue in Season 2, like Tyler being the Hyde and maybe getting into the mystery of the actual town. I am excited that we're getting more of the family, based on the trailer, even though if it takes away from Wednesday that might be a distraction. Ortega really does carry this show and looking forward to more hijinks ensuing.

I really like Jenna Ortega. But since her fanbase is mostly teenagers, the slightest criticism (without even giving you a chance to explain yourself) gets you blocked or leads to arguments. Dealing with teenagers is so difficult, I won't be dealing with them anymore.

That sounds like most of fandoms these days.

Allow me to introduce you to...the internet.

That sounds like most of fandoms these days.
When I told a fan of the girl, "Her face is full of botox and she probably had botox when she was a kid," she said to me, "You're ugly."

Previously, in April, she had starred alongside Robert De Niro in a film directed by a director who was revealed to be a pervert. If the film had found a buyer at Cannes, it would have been made. At the time, the girl's fans reacted angrily. Her mother also shared a story on Instagram about her father, who died of AIDS 33 years ago, worked as a drag queen in bars, and protected her in "rough environments." When I said "rough environments," I thought of bad things. I was blocked for saying that. The other day, someone wrote, "How can you sleep soundly after making up lies like that?" This was evident in the post the girl's mother shared and then deleted. So, what else was I supposed to understand?

Jenna Ortega previously starred in a 2024 sci-fi film by Taiki Waititi, slated for a 2026 release. One of her fans said they were going to campaign for the film to win an Oscar, and I explained which genres were considered best films. I told her she wouldn't get an Oscar for this film, and she promptly blocked me.

That’s exclusive to teenagers???? ;)
mostly young girls, especially interestingly, young girls who identify as gay and bisexual.

There was something odd about that picture. The one you posted above when she looked like she was recording a podcast looked a lot better, but her appearance in London was weird. The "you're ugly" reply does seem like it came from an immature teenager.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say "Looks like she'd had Botox" isn't the best way to start a conversation and doubling down on it, isn't either.

Ortega looks glammed up in the London premier shot. Which is not unusual for such events. She also looks more like a 22 year old than the teen she plays in Wednesday.

I usually think 'that' girl got Botox. I know because my sister has Botox too. 'This' girl might have had plastic surgery on her face too. But I think whatever was done was done when she was a child.
