Thank god Star Trek will finally have more theatres than Terminator. Trek is only losing 331 theatres (down to 2,307). Very small 12.5% drop.

For comparison, Terminator in its 5th weekend has 1,920, A&D in its 6th weekend has 1,888, and Wolverine in its 8th weekend has 536. Land of the Lost is already dropping to 2,942 in its 3rd weekend.

Meaning that there is some method to the theater count madness... In Trek's case, the theaters are probably very happy, 'cuz it means more (percentage) money for them rather than the studio as time goes by.

Wonder whether the Father's Day weekend will give Star Trek just a little boost, like Mother's Day did those weeks ago...
