Wednesday (6/17) Box Office - Trek #6 - $0.7 million

250M is still a possibility, but if it happens it'll be sometime in late July. The last 5M will be agonizingly slow.

By that point, Chartman will have to fiddle with the format a bit, as the blue bars will become quite... small...

Then, it'll be time for a cigarette.

Are you doubting Chartman? :shifty:

He'll keep it together. He always does.
Your name shall be on the protected rolls...and you shall come of no harm.

:guffaw:

*blush*

Do not take Chartman's name in vain.

Orci said the two of them were interested in doing some other kinds of projects, including romantic comedy, to see how they are.

the greedy bastards! they already have the biggest hit of 2009 and looking toward another one in T2. :angryrazz:

yes, we need to get in on all that action they got going. 100 bucks they get a lot of their ideas here. :p

you don't want to know how much I wish I didn't know.

okay, enough spam. M'Sharak will throw me out soon.

Well, I did my bit; #17 visit last night.

So, I notice that Sandra Bullock's new movie, "The Proposal," was written by Orci and Kurtzman. I will be interested to see how their foray into comedy goes.

They didn't write it; just producers.

BTW, the final number was a little above $700K.

We'll take it.

At this rate, $500 K a day Mon-Thurs looks possible for next week...

Although that depends on Transformers II.

Thank god Star Trek will finally have more theatres than Terminator. Trek is only losing 331 theatres (down to 2,307). Very small 12.5% drop.

For comparison, Terminator in its 5th weekend has 1,920, A&D in its 6th weekend has 1,888, and Wolverine in its 8th weekend has 536. Land of the Lost is already dropping to 2,942 in its 3rd weekend.
