We might see Sulu on Discovery this season.

I've given this considerable thought, and I've come up with an undeniable conclusion based on heavy amounts of data:

We very well might see Sulu.

Then again...we might not.

You didn't think through the logic all the way! There is way to do both! Sulu is wearing a cloaking unifrom so even though we see him we never see his face. Maybe only his voice.

The TOS character ages were based on the actor's ages when they took their roles, and in the Star Trek Chronology. The only ones different from below are Uhura and Chekov.
