The problem with the internets is that most people don't know when to give it up, already.

Seriously. The pictures were funny at first but now it's everywhere. Now it invaded my Facebook posting. It just feels like the Internet equivelent to Austin Powers impersonations or when people still do the Ace Ventura "All righty then."

It reminds me of the Family Guy when the girl said to Stewie "You are the weakest link, goodbye" and he was all "Oh my God, how clever! I haven't heard of that one before! You are so original!"

How does one use 'fail' as a noun correctly, without being on the internet? The noun IRL is 'failure'.

Internet humour is generally in and of itself an EPIC FAIL -- I generally ignore it. This has the added benefit of preventing joke fatigue, for the most part.

How does one use 'fail' as a noun correctly, without being on the internet? The noun IRL is 'failure'.

The first two were actually heard in corridors of my school 35 years ago, son, and I'm sure long before that. As for the third, no that makes no sense to my ears, but neither does "This fall is not good enough" or "This oceon is not good enough". Not all possible sentences are sensible.
