Out of all the 80's-era supergroup relief songs, "Sun City" was always my favorite.
Well one group song they'll never remake is "Voice That Care," which had among the chorus -- Brian Bosworth, Don King, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Gary Busey and... The Shat!
Why Dan Aykroyd in 1985? To lighten things up in the studio, they say.

"It's true we'll make a better day, just you and me." And Lil Wayne is doing that part this time, apparently.Which artist is going to do the Bob Dylan (what the hell lyrics is he singing) part of the We Are the World redux?
I saw the video today. It's terrific. You can download the song on iTunes for $1.29. Proceeds go to Haiti.I grew up in the 1980s, and I will never forget this song (originally performed by USA for Africa, a group of recording artists who wanted to help with the famine relief in one of the African countries). I don't know if I liked the melody more than the positive message of hope and compassion it was promoting at the time. Now there's word of a remake in the works; I'm assuming it's for the earthquake victims in Haiti. This is going to be interesting if it really happens.
