Watching an episode of Trek a day would take you..

..over 2 years to make it through the entire canon of TV and films. Think about that one. Anyone ever try that? What order would you watch it? Would you start at Enterprise? Would you switch to the Kelvin timeline after Nemesis?

I remember back in the day when TNG would be reran in daily syndication. Even before the DVDs came out and I was not an early adopter of those, every time they got to season 5 I got all depressed because it'd be months of snoozing before they got back to season 1 again. At least they didn't repeat episodes one per week.

Rewatching preferred episodes or a one-off for a long-forgotten adventure is preferable to doing a marathon, in order, per day or week... for me, anyway.

762 productions would take two years and thirty-two days to watch, if you watch one a day.

One a week would take fourteen years and thirty-four weeks to watch.

One a month would take sixty-three years and six months to watch.

But then, you'd have new programs being released. You can catch up with a week or day, but one a month would last beyond any of our lifetimes, probably.

When I got the digitally enhanced and visually restored Star Trek DVDs (TOS for the nerds) I watched it in its entirety for one last time, I've seen them so often.
The box set provided me with the excuse to draw a line under it and remember if fondly.
Only other series of Trek I've obsessed over is Enterprise, multiple viewings in Season order.
Didn't take stock of how long it would take though.
Usually did about 3 per day.

Well I only like first four Trek shows plus the films and cartoons so not sure how long that would take me at one episode a week? :wtf:

I just pop H&I on every night around 8 to see what TOS ep is on. If it's one I like I'll watch it, tho maybe not all of it. Maybe later I'll pop the TV on again to see what TNG ep is on. I usually end up sayin "Oh, that one" derisively, and I go build a model.

Rewatching preferred episodes

^^ Quote editing to bring out the point..
But yeah, that's the way I like to watch Trek, not all the episodes in order, only selected favourites.

Maybe the stinkers that are forgotten for a long time might feel better after a long time.

I watched everything over around a two-year period. It wasn't one episode a day like clockwork though. Usually I watched 2-3 episodes a night, then I went through periods I was burned out and took a break.

I watched them in roughly the order of the Star Trek Chronology Project.
