Was Voyager aware of Dominion War

Also it would be a cool myriad universe idea where the dominion wins and Starfleet sends a communique to Voyager to stay away from the alpa/beta quadrants and settle in the Delta or even worse flee the Galaxy-story idea would deal with the angst of them never getting home and trying to find another one.

The Dominion War started at least two years after Voyager ended up in the Delta Quadrant. In the Season 4 episode "Message in a Bottle", the Doctor found out about the war, after being sent to the Alpha Quadrant via a Hirogen subspace relay network for a brief period. Upon his return to the ship, he informed the crew about the war. They later discovered more details about the war via the letters that Starfleet had sent them via the Hirogen network. The Dominion War had been going on for about a year. By the time Voyager returned to the Alpha Quadrant, the war had been over for at least two years.

This was actually discussed on the bulletin boards at the time - not that Voyager would stay away, but that they would come back to discover the Federation conquered and end up pulling together the effort to reverse that.

Didnt know this thread was that old, just became a fan myself (round about a year now i guess) when I seen this insanely gorgeous vulcan woman with golden olive skin, and a personality that was just amazing in every aspect (bless the man who made decontamination gel). If I could ever find a woman with T'pol or 7 of 9 personality (wow)
