Was there a toilet on the Enterprise?

Wasn't it the Captain's chair?

Speaking of which....

THAT is comedy GOLD!!! :guffaw:

We have some truly comedically gifted peeps at this site...

Try as I might, I can't recall ever seeing a toilet on any starships. Did they have one??? :cardie:

Read the label near the seat on which Kirk is sitting, in the brig, during ST V. The sign reads "Do not flush while in spacedock".
To be acurate, it's "DO NOT USE WHILE IN SPACEDOCK." Clicky for screencap.

Looks like there's a TP dispenser slot to the right and a button either to flush or to dispense. I suspect that may be a sink retracted into the wall to screen left.

No bathrooms in Star Trek.

Howdy!

There is never a bathroom scene or a bathroom in Star Trek anywhere. I wonder what a bathroom would really be like. Would they be segregated by sex, and do all species necessarily use the same body parts to excise their liquids?

The closest I have ever seen to one was on Enterprise when the doofus Captain was taking a shower and his water was turned off. No toilet though.

Non-canonical stories state that Scotty would stink up the bathroom in engineering after his meal of beans, haggis and cabbage, so bad that no woman would work in engineering. Then of course, was Kirk's infamous "Captain's Log".
