    According to Memory Beta:

The last line seems interesting. Is he a spy or will he settle down in the Federation, maybe on station Deep Space Nine? :)

Anyway, no problems to bring him back. The Picard series needs something to spice it up and characters like Weyoun and Garak would be perfect for that.

I imagine they've already done that by bringing John de Lancie back. It's hard to imagine where Garak or Weyoun would fit into Picard. Weyoun especially.

Well, maybe under the influence of Odo (changelings live for centuries) the founders have become do-gooders and so the Weyouns are now on the side of good.

They can find ways to bring Weyoun back. But I don’t like the idea that just one year after the war the great link went their separate ways and their entire culture of controlling Vorta and Gem Hadar changed. Seems completely out of character for the great link to give up unity and just way too fast for that kind of policy change.

Yet it was Odo's job to convince the founders that solids weren't so bad after all and that there was no need to control them (or design plagues to condemn them to short lives in squalor and ended in intense pain).

I still don't think it would really fit any story Picard tried to tell. He wouldn't have ever had any contact with the Vorta and throwing them into his story at this point would just be bizarre and needless. You could at least believe the idea he had met Seven before the events of season one, with them both being liberated Borg and her involvement on Voyager.

It would be like introducing the Kazon into SNW.

I hope they'll just forget the Kazon.

You'd hope that, with SNW being set about 90 years before Voyager being flung across the galaxy, they wouldn't have much call to throw them in. They may well pop up in Lower Decks or Prodigy at some point though.

Lots of hate for some of my favourite characters.

Gaira is basically responsible for Area 51, what an absolute legend. He should be immortalised.

I don’t mind them being convinced in the long run, just 2376 seems as oversped a timeline as Ferengi progressivism. Like because the Federation was kind to one changeling it overrides centuries of fear.

And dissolving the link and living as individuals is just plain dumb.

It would be tough to fit DS9 stuff into Picard. I can think of a few possible angles. Worf and O’Brien might come to Picard with things they can’t trust a stranger with. Picard could be assigned to be on point to a GQ fact finding mission just because it’s politically unpopular and nobody cares about his career. Or the androids might try to make a treaty with the founders out of mutual fear of persecution.

Not sure it’d feel right to be the focus of a season. But I’d like to see the state of the Dominion 25 years later.

Perhaps they could finally have Picard revisit on the whole Baku/Son'a thing that we have all been dying to know more about since 1998. And since we know that the Son'a were allied with the Dominion, that would be the chance to bring in Weyoun, Odo, the Female Changeling, and a host of others!

Perhaps we could have an update on the unimatix zero people. Whatever happened to their movement?

Although, the first season was already a lot about the borg. Maybe season two should stay away from the borg lest the audience would get fed up.

Why not? Surely the Enterprise saw action in the Dominion War. I know there are novels and comics...

They need more than Q to spice up Picard. Garak, Weyoun or both of them would be great.

Was it not established that the Enterprise wasn't involved in the Dominion front as they were trying to garner support from outside the Federation to support the war effort? I'm sure I've read that the loss of the flagship would've done so much damage to the morale of Starfleet that they saw little to no action.

I'm sure they could find things to spice up Picard without using support characters from DS9.

Which is a nice way of saying the movie people went, "Dominion what? What the hell? No way are we referencing stuff from some TV show we don't watch!"
