Was STID Epic enough? (spoilers)

Re: Was STID Epic enough?

I felt the same way about Ironman 3. That was possibly the worst letdown I've had for a movie with awesome trailers. It had such potential to be really great and it just sucked.
I totally agree. As I said in another thread, I thought it was worse than IM2.

But the trailers made it look like something awesome.

STiD was just about as I expected--not on the same level as TDK, IM, Avengers, etc. But still a kickass popcorn flick with a good story and a lot of fun.

I would put that list like this:

1. TDK (really, hard to beat the Joker)
2. STID (just loved every second of it, and Benedict Cumberbatch kills)
3. Ironman (fun flick, didn't make much sense, but I enjoyed it)
4. The Avengers (watched once, enjoyed it, but not enough to watch it again)
----
972. Ironman 3 ('nuff said)

Favorite movies of all time:

1. LotR - Return of the King (epic in every way)
2. The Fugitive (best action movie ever in IMO)
3. Mononoke Hime [Princess Mononoke] (Wonderful story and animation)
