Was Patrick his first name or his last name?

Enterprise1981

Vice Admiral
Admiral
That's a stupid question... :p

When he was posing as an admiral at the beginning of "Chrysalis", he was Admiral Patrick as far as Nog was concerned. Why did he not just use his actual surname, unless his name was somehow Patrick Patrick?

i know someone called patrick patricks.

everyone calls him Paddy Deuce. he hates it.

Just like Quincy Quincy or Spock Spock. ;)

Even though Quincy's first name was never given, his first initial was. In one of the 3rd season eps his name is given as "R. Quincy".

Also:
yes, even Columbo has a first name. It's Frank. Linky

Probably not, since he was on the station the first time the genetics were on the station. Nog wasn't.

As for Patrick, I'd say it makes sense that he only used his first name, all the time, because of his child-like maturity level.

Also, maybe Patrick was at least smart enough to know that using his real last name would tip people off. So he used his first name, on the assumption that no one would seriously think his name was Patrick Patrick.

He may be a child at heart, but he's not stupid.
