Was Majel ever in ST XI? (spoilers)

Does Majel have a daughter? My mom, sister and I all sound very similar on the phone.

Listen.

Different cadence, different tone, different timbre.
I agree. When I close my eyes and listen to your clips, I hear Majel's voice only when responding to Chekhov. It was nice to hear her voice again.:techman:

Maybe they can get a close Majel soundalike to voice the Enterprise and Starfleet computers in the next movie or two.

I'm sure she voiced enough that you could mix and match and edit syllables together to get pretty much any phrasing that you'd want...if one wanted to do such a thing and keep her going indefinitely.

Give me a case of Dr. Pepper and access to her dry voice work and I could do it.

All the computer voices we heard were Starfleet computers. Starfleet helped build the Jellyfish.

The Jellyfish was a Vulcan-built ship.

True. Maybe some Starfleet technology was involved in putting it together, but it was an all-Vulcan spacecraft.
From what is said on the countdown stuff Data and Geordi helped build the computers for it. Which also doesn't make sense to me since Data is dead.

Well in the comic Data has a conversation with Spock and it said Data's download that he did into B4 in Nemesis finally was able to fully takeover and Data was basically back but in a new body. Spock commented that they both shared a similar experience.

Well, in the COUNTDOWN backstory "Data" is actually B-4 after assimilating all of Data's positronic memories and becoming fully functional.

i thought the Jellyfish was her. wouldn't it be pretty unlikely that a speaking part would be uncredited?

btw re the Jellyfish Star Trek Online reckons it was a joint venture between the Vulcans and the Daystrom Institute (hence Geordi's involvement)
