Was Majel ever in ST XI? (spoilers)

I confess I don't remember hearing her at all. And I have good ears.

The Jellyfish computer voice was definitely not Majel. As for the Enterprise computer voice, when did we ever hear IT speak?

Also, IMDB says that Majel provides the offscreen voice of Christine Chapel. I do know that Chapel is in the film - we hear McCoy ask her for something, and yes he does say "Nurse Chapel", and she replies (but is not seen onscreen) "Yes, sir." Was that Majel?

Well, I'm reasonably sure she gave her voice to the Jellyfish computer and the escape-pod computer.

But that's one thing I've decided to look out for during my 2nd viewing.

don't worry, CD. I also started listening for her voice during my 2nd viewing. the first viewing was too much. I was trembling with all the excitement and just gobbled everything up in some kind of "whooooshing" sense. I wasn't capable of discerning anything specific.

Yes, she was in it, with the Checkov Wictor Wictor scene.

I listened for it on the 2nd viewing, and it only *barely* sounded like her in one scene with Chekov. She really was quite ill at the time, so I'm not surprised her voice was "off" from being fully recognizable.

she was only in TVH in the trial scenes in Starfleet HQ, IIRC.

I was finally able to listen for her on my third viewing.

She's definetly the voice of the Enterprise computer. The Jellyfish, I doubt she was as the voice didn't so as much like hers as it did on the Enterprise.

Nah. The Jellyfish computer is a much younger woman.

Yeah most of the computer voice didn't sound like her, just with Chekov. Wasn't really consistent.
