Was Kahless meant to be an allegory for Jesus?

Wait, where did we learn Kahless was put to death by Molar? I thought the tale was that Kahless/Arthur defeated Molar/Mordred and united all the tribes of Qo'noS/England into a single nation/Camelot. Afterward he went off to another journey/through the mists of Avalon/into the afterlife to return again when his people needed him most.

There are two versions of Kahless's fate. One where he is executed and one where he leaves because his work is done. No doubt sectarian violence has broken out over this issue from time to time.

Sources? The "when his work was done" version is holy canon - where's the other from?

Seems like Fett is just bound and determined to argue the Jesus Allegory no matter what and other people's personal opinions have no value.

I still think Kahless is the Nietzschean "uebermensch" idea, more than anything. The whole "killing the gods" story fits Nietzsche, and it overall just seems to fit.
