Warner Bros. Circling David Ayer for DC Comics’ ‘Suicide Squad’

It's hard to get a feel for the movie. The trailer showed quite a lot of action without a true sense of the plot. That being said, it was an undeniably fun trailer. I could probably watch that thing over and over for at least 10-15 minutes of entertainment. If the movie pulls off that level of interest, it'll be a blast.
 
I like that trailer. The movie looks fun. Joker still looks and acts like crap though. They should change his name to Mumbles because it sounds like he has a mouth full of marbles when he talks.
 
I loved that trailer. I'm a huge Harley fan, and it looks like they've done a great job with her here.
I'm a big Will Smith fan going back to Independence Day, so I look forward to seeing him in this.
Now that the initial shock of the reveal of Jared Leto's Joker has started to wear off, he is starting to grow on me.
I'm glad to see that this actually looks like it will be fun, it'll be a nice change of pace after Man of Steel and Batman v Superman.
Since this is a Suicide Squad story I can't help but wonder who the first causalities will be. Since they are the least well known characters my first thought would be Diablo and Slipknot. They just seem like canon fodder to me.
 
That was a fantastic trailer. It reminded me a lot of Guardians of the Galaxy, but I say if it works, use it. Harley Quinn was hilarious.

I don't give a shit about BvS, but this looks really good. It feels like GOTG, but different enough to not feel like a ripoff.
 
Maybe someone here with a screen grab function can confirm this but I was talking to a coworker last night about the movie and he said there were pre and post tattoo shots of the Joker in the trailer and that they were prison tattoos acquired around the same time as the interrogation scene with Harleen.
Does anyone else think this might be the case?

I want to give you the biggest of high fives now. :D

I really loved this trailer. I'm buzzed for Superman Vs Batman, and that will probably be one of the most over the top action movies ever. But sofar, this one actually seems to be fun.

I'm guessing Katana.
 
Beware the Batman and Arrow have raised her profile quite a bit, so I could see them wanting to keep her around.
 
Katana will live most likely. Her profile has been rising since New 52. She got a solo title a few years ago, was on Beware the Batman as Batman's partner (she's had a history serving on the Outsiders with Batman since the 80s), she apart of DC Girl's Academy, and has been on Arrow. Katana will be fine.


My guesses for Squad fodder are Slipknot, Diablo, maybe Killer Croc.
