Warner Bros. Circling David Ayer for DC Comics’ ‘Suicide Squad’

Neat. It'll be interesting to see what it is they're out to stop and how the Joker fits in. Harley's loyalties will obviously be tested, if the Joker is part of what they're fighting.

Looks like it should be interesting, seems like DC may be getting its act together.

The brief snippet of Leto's Joker is promising. It's not about what he looks like, it's about how he plays the part.

Jared's Joker was weird. I mean, with Heath, you got scared of him because of the things he did. His actions defined him. He'd talk to you, and you felt scared. His looks made you think, who's this clown? What's with the theatrics?

Jared just gave me the heebiejeebies...... He feels diseased.

I already love Leto's Joker laugh.
I have to admit, I'm actually kind of glad that Margot Robbie isn't just doing an Arleen Sorkin/Tara Strong impression. My biggest fear was that they would go that route and it would be a disaster.

I didn't like that trailer very much. If I was basing my decision on whether to see this movie or not off this one trailer I don't think I'd go see it.

Pretty interesting trailer. I like it that it leans so heavily on Harley and Waller, even though Will Smith is in the movie.

Although the bit that pleased me the most had more to do with the larger cinematic universe than with this film: They actually used the name "Superman" casually and up-front. Man of Steel only grudgingly acknowledged the name and treated it as though it were an embarrassment, so I'm really glad to hear Waller using the name rather than saying "the alien" or "the Kryptonian" or something.

Very nice. I'm definitely more interested in this movie now.

And I watched the Joker part 4-5 times...I think I'm going to like him.

Wow, I can't say I was all that excited for this movie before, but I really loved the mysterious and creepy tone of the trailer. Here's hoping it's something that will actually carry through to the final film.

Do we know yet if this is going to be PG-13? The vibe I got from the trailer feels like something you'd see for a R movie, but being a big superhero movie I could see them keeping it at a tamer PG-13

It hasn't been rated yet. There's a lot of speculation that it might go for an R rating, but no confirmation of that as there has been for the Deadpool movie. There's also speculation that it might get a "hard" PG-13. Sometimes the distinction between the two is barely significant -- a few less curse words, a few seconds of gore trimmed.

Looks good. I get the feeling Smith will have a spin off movie from this somewhere down the line.
