^"Unfinished business" apparently meaning that he finally gets to play a full-on supervillain, after missing his chance with Sinestro.
A couple new bits of Batman news have come up. Rumors saying that Batfleck's last appearance might end up being in Suicide Squad 2 rather than Flashpoint are making the rounds, and they're also saying that Matt Reeve's Batman movie might be released as part of the group of standalone movies that is also going to include the Martin Scorsese Joker movie.
Martin Scorsese Joker movie? Wow, I am so there.

Outside the continuity??? I understand if Aquaman has little to do with Justice League other than a reference here or there...no prob.If rumours are to be believed (and people are of course perfectly entitled to disbelieve them until we hear clear statements from WB), it looks like WB are almost going back to the position over a decade ago when they were planning to have a Justice League film that would be in a different continuity and have different actors from Bale’s Batman or Routh’s short-lived Superman incarnation. Confusingly, while we appear to be getting standalone films outside the JL continuity such as those you mentioned, we also seem to be getting solo films for the JL ensemble; ie Aquaman, Flash, Wonder Woman etc.
Apologies for the double post - meant to multi-quote but messed up.
Oops, sorry about that, here's the correct link.Your link just goes here, there's no point to it.
Yeah, the rumors are that they are going to be doing a combination of standalone movies under a unique banner, and the DCEU movies with Cavill Superman, Gadot Wonder Woman, Momoa Aquaman ect.If rumours are to be believed (and people are of course perfectly entitled to disbelieve them until we hear clear statements from WB), it looks like WB are almost going back to the position over a decade ago when they were planning to have a Justice League film that would be in a different continuity and have different actors from Bale’s Batman or Routh’s short-lived Superman incarnation. I just picture them going "Why are the Marvel movies so successful? Can't figure it out."
David F. Sandberg, the director of Shazam! talked a bit about the movie's tone in Reddit post.
Sounds good to me, and avoiding the "quippy one liners" will be a good way to avoid to many comparisons to the MCU since that has kind of become their trademark.
