Warehouse 13 Season 4 (discussion, spoilers)

The Enterprise episode E2 was about an alternate timeline NX-01 several generations into being a generational ship. T'Pol was the only one still alive, the ship was captained by Lorian the middle aged child of Trip and T'Pol, there were numerous Phlox descendants. They had devoted their years to saving earth from the Xindi weapon. The characters and untold story are quite gripping.

Ah, I was still thinking Warehouse 13. Didn't make the Enterprise connection.

I'm currently brainstorming another TOS book, but who knows? Maybe somewhere down the road. I have yet to an Enterprise book . . ..

That's interesting that they would do that, and rather tempting. But I have a particular friend who is a fellow fan of WH13 and it would be like leaving early for the party and making her catch up on her own.

I want to know who the new characters are, though. :rommie:

The new characters are very familiar (esp the guy) to scifi-fantasy audiences in general. I loved the inside joke when we discover there's more to him than meets the eye.

What the heck? Putting it online before it broadcasts?

What is this world coming to?

Yeah, quite a few networks do it these days. I find it kind of funny though, because they'll do that and promote the crap out of it, and then when the pilot gets lousy numbers they get mad. All I think then is that if they didn't put the pilot out early a lot more people probably would have watched it live. There have been several times where I watched the first episode early and didn't bother with the TV airing.

^^ Yeah, I can understand putting the first ten minutes online or something.

The thread title allows for spoilers.

^^ Oh... duh.

(I can never make spoiler tags work)

Ok... the new lady was the priestess from Syfy's Caprica series.

The new guy used to have white SPIKED hair in a little show known as Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. ;)

And yes, he (James Marsters sp?) makes a joke about how only prepubescent girls find Vampires interesting... to which our Pete reluctantly admits HE likes Vampires too. :p

Cool, thanks. I'm not familiar with Caprica, but I love James Marsters. I haven't seen him around since that episode of Supernatural he was in.

Polly Walker was also Atia in Rome, Cassiopea in the Clash of the Titan remake, did the voice and Mo-Cap for one of the Tharks in John Carter, and was the leader of the underground city Praxis in Santuary.

Ah, okay, I saw her in Sanctuary.

Is this really just the continuation of Season 4? If so, 6 months sure is one hell of a long mid-season break. Regardless, I'm looking forward to May 5!

Yup, it's still season four. And I think it's more like a seven-month break.
