Walter Koenig will be joining DS9s Ciroc Lofton on The 7th Rule podcast to review TOS episodes. Koenig has not seen the episodes since the '60s and Lofton has never seen the original series, so there will be two unique perspectives to the reviews.

Great announcement! Between this and The Delta Flyers adding Shimerman/Farrell, looks like there will be some interesting times ahead.

I do wish the 7th Rule would maybe funnel some of that Patreon money into getting some nice microphones though. The audio isn't awful, but it's not especially pleasant to listen to either.

I love the star trek podcasts. Walter rewatching episodes and giving his input is AWESOME......he's 87 now and seems to still have a pretty sharp mind. Thankful we still have him around yet. These will be great to listen on the way home from work. I have a half hour drive. Walters appearance on the Shuttle pod show was very entertaining. (The story about the construction bolt was hilarious) so I'm guessing these will be as well.....

Very good news, indeed.

Walter has made it quite clear that he would like to be involved in making more official Trek and the studio should definitely make that happen. There could even be something special and poignant in the 4th movie, if they ever get off their butts and make it.

Thoroughly enjoyed his performances in the fan productions.

I would love to see one last appearance by Walter. It was nice to have a bit of his voice in Star Trek Picard. Would be great to have him playing Anton Chekov in at least one scene. But with the strikes in Hollywood this is now highly unlikely to happen....

This looks fun. I never saw these folks before and just watched the Koenig interview about Shatner. So nice to see a supporting cast member finally being complimentary towards him.

It's probably just me, but when I hear the ''dmm-dmm-dmm-dmm-dmm-dmm'' sequence in MR. BASS MAN it automatically reminds me of Walter Koenig.

Has anyone been watching this on Youtube or is it just me?
This guy is like a combination of the bunch of us analysing an episode

I'm sorry, I got about 30 seconds into it and got really bored. But to be fair, I'm not really a podcast guy so if you want me to sit there for an extended amount of time, listening to Talking Heads, you have to give me something really interesting. I would rather just read.
