The nacelle in the window appears to be askew in relation to the saucer. Could the window be curved?
The upper part definitely looks like McCoy's chair, but there's something below that which appears to be a reflection from the outside. My guess is a planet.
About the "nacelle" being askew, it almost looks like it's under the saucer.

But from what i can see in the pic looks like a Bridge Module of a Fed ship,
I can also see in the reflection what looks to be a planets surface.
It has been mentioned that the Kelvin is attacked by romulans in the beginning of the movie, so my theory is that perhaps the Kelvin sustained severe damage and went down and crashed on this ice planet we have seen?

I think you're right. Given the angle of the camera to the window, we can't possibly see what they are looking at in the reflection. We are looking at the reflection of something behind them, no in front.

Unless someone on the film the crew is dressed as Legolas with a Dwarf on his shoulders.
Doubt they are cadet uniforms, McCoy would already be well into his first ten years at starfleet by the time Kirk entered the training academy. Im guessing theyre dress uniforms or some kind of away team type jumpsuits.

Why would McCoy and Kirk be the same age when on their first (or second, or fourth) year in the Academy? Wouldn't it be likely that McCoy would have gone through some medical education before enrolling? It should be quite possible for him to be on the same class with Kirk, timeline-wise.

Exactly. McCoy: 8 years of medical training, then 4 years at the academy two years later.

I'm not sure how well supported this idea is, but I have always been under the impression that McCoy had a few years of experience as a civilian physician before joining Starfleet. He probably came into the service at accelerated rank due to job expertise, maybe as a Lieutenant.
Kirstie Alley was 30 when she played Lt. Saavick. So, it would make more sense for Kirk to be in his late-twenties at least when he takes the KM test. Also, McCoy may very well have been a practicing M.D. when he joined the service (as others have said). IMO, it makes perfect sense for McCoy, Kirk, Uhura, Sulu and Chekov to be at the academy at the same time. Uhura and Sulu would be senior cadets (22ish in age?), Chekov would be a junior cadet(18ish), Kirk would be a full Lt. (at least) who is back at the academy for his command training (aged 26-30?), and McCoy would be a doctor in his mid-thirties who has joined the fleet as an officer and is completing his required training.
