Voyager Uniforms

I suspect Janeway just didn't care about the latest fashions back home when they were 70 years away. The way clothing fashion goes in circles, by the time they got home, the uniforms they were wearing would probably be back in style.

 Good point!

Or perhaps she didn't like the way the next extra layers would make her look fat :)

The bigger the cushion, the better the pushing... besides she was trying to get some in Jane Mansfield-land, that's some serious obfuscation of sensuality unless you're addressing someone with a buckle fetish you fancy to be undressing you.

Notice how Tuvok was handing out penalties and demerits for breaches of the uniform formality to the Maquis months into their journey home in Learning Curve? it would have been like training monkeys to get these space bums and scally wags to look the part of Starfleet officers that they not putting on things backwards, the wrong colour and four days unwashed...

Janeway had no faith in these pirate dirtfarmers not to need another year to learn how to dress themselves properly if she was to keep step with the current trends of the AQ.

Chell was stuck in the brig for 5 days because he wouldn't stop wearing his "I'm with Stupid" T-Shirt. Other problems were not so innocent.

Heh, that could be. Sometimes it's good to be the Captain. :techman:

If she was truly worried, then she could have got one of those coat vest's Roxanne used to hide her pregnancy so magnificently.

The magic of television.

Riker was Pregnant in Season 5 of TNG.

I liked the tank Top Janeway wore under her uniform, only seen the once that i can recall in Macrocosm. Though it wasn't a third as cool as the vest Picard wore under his movie uniform show in First contact when he cowboyed up at the end.

Maybe it's a question of heat? Do smaller ships run hotter than the big ones and the stations? You must wonder why there is mold and sweat dripping off the walls in those Klingon Birds of Prey that there ain't using the hulk of their vessels for resource efficient heat sinks?
