Voyager on SPIKE TV

freak , you crack me up!

Yeah, I know..guilty as charged..but it's true! Anyway, I try to watch Voy whenever I can. But I don't think i'll be able to see it today cause I have to pick my dog up at the vets around 3pm or so today. She just got spayed and also got her splint fixed. :)

I watch it all the time. But now that the series DVD'S are getting cheaper, I can buy them nd watch them.

So is anybody still watching the show on SPIKE? I've been able to catch a few episodes here and there, but haven't caught them all the way through. I caught the episode where Torres is split in two by the Vidiians yesterday, which is a cool episode.

Anyone know how the show is doing ratings wise?

I am currently watching Voyager right now - instead of the super bowl.

I DVR every Spike episode.

I think Spike has lost the right to air TNG. They didn't want to pay for it anymore. So they only have DS9 and VOY to run now. Spike doesn't care for DS9, like much of the general Trek fandom ;), and have pretty much ignored it in favor of VOY's stand alone episode format.

Ah, but one must take into account the amount of years they have been running TNG and DS9 for. How many years had Spike been runing TNG and DS9 for? Well over 5, isn't it? Most likely the main reason they didn't want to pay for them any more, is because they have already over-saturated their market with those same reruns for several years and the market stopped watching in decent numbers simply because they've seen them all umpteen times already.

If after Spike has been airing reruns of VOY for the same number of several years that it aired TNG and DS9, and then still chooses to pay to run reruns of VOY beyond that timeframe, then it could reasonably said that Spike prefers VOY, or that VOY gets better ratings than the other shows. IMO that won't happen though. Chances are they will stop paying for VOY in the same amount of time as, or sooner than with the other shows.
