Bargain. I found a lone Season One set in a charity shop that started me off. That then meant I didn't really want to get the full set so had to watch out for two seasons for forty dollar sales until I had the lot. Might have spent too much, lol. Will play them until I can quote each scene verbatim..

Totally agree Voyager is No1 for me ! ! ! Yes I have seen all of the others before and after. It has the best layout and looking interface of any of the ships, best techno explanation of situations from shields, weapons, warp, engines VERY consistent across ALL episodes of what dose what and effects what and where and why ! ! ! ! ! Simply the best ! ! ! ! !
Don't get me going about Babylon 5 .....I love it almost as much as Voyager ! ! ! ! !
STRONGLLY CAN RECOMEND IT FOR THE FIRST FEW SEASONS UP TO THEM CHANGING THE COMMANDER (THE FIRST COMANDER WAS AMAZING!!!)
INTERESTINGLY IT WAS THE BABYLON 5 SPECIAL EFFECTS TEAM THAT WAS RECRUTED TO MAKE THE NEW EFFECTS FOR VOYAGER WHICH HAD NOT BEEN DONE ON STAR TREK BEFORE.........LIKE THE SCENES IN THE VEW FINDER OF OTHER SHIPS AND SHIP BATTLES IN SPACE ETC.......
Thank you SaturnVuk. I'll have a good look at the Babylon 5 one soon. The Voyager stuff is pretty cool. They did an amazing job that absolutely stands the test of time. People were talking about Emmys yesterday .. surely the team got them for these special effects.

I have no doubt you will LOVE Babylon 5, the music as in Voyager is really excellent, its abit more synthy in Babylon 5 but still really excellent. The character developments are first class and lead to moments like in Voyager that are quite simply spellbinding and totally emotionally captivating, the performances are really out of this world, it has a slightly heavier and deeper feel than Voyager but is well worth your time and investment ! ! ! ! ! ! Robert Michael O'Hare, Jr performance is incredible!!! Mira Furlans performance of Dellane is spellbinging......very comparable in my opinion to the warmth and depth that Kes brings to Voyager. Andrew "Andreas" Katsulas performance of GKar is one of the greatest screen and most moving and engaging screen performances I have ever seen........but there are so many more notable performances in Babylon I would be here all day......
if you fancy just small look.......to maybe wet your appetite....
B-5 is underrated, in my opinion, and JMS did a fantastic job.
That was one of my favorite parts.
LOL That brings the Babylon 5 thing full circle, the only reason it started was because some one was making that point of DS9 been first and some one posted a comment......"Cough Babylon 5 Cough ! ! !"
I think but could be wrong that Babylon 5 was first for that style both in development and on air (I will stand corrected if I'm wrong ! ! !)

I'm a member of head-hifi which I also love, however they are much stricter before you are even just allowed to post, I understand why and what they do but it can come across a little over bearing sometimes, when they take 24-48 hrs to check if your post is worthy of been posted on the site !!! LOL
100% Agree ! ! ! I would also say (keeping on the theme of the thread!) Voyager is also soooo underrated, I'm on a binge watching of all seasons at the moment (halfway through season 3) so very much more impressed with Janeways performance, in hindsight its much much stronger and consistent than I first remembered ! ! !
As is the actually technical basis for "problems" that the ship encounters, I have to say only now with my in depth science knowledge was I able to truly "understand" exactly what they were talking about in depth and did it make sense......very impressive ! ! ! ! ! !
