Voyager Episode Posters

My poster for Maneuvers. A decent episode this one. The glowing orbs are supposed to be the transporter beam effect - relevant because that's what the Kazon stole.

This one is for Concerning Flight. I made the sketch in AutoCAD - which I use mostly for work. I found a website that had a DaVinci font for the text. The C in Concerning is supposed to be the tip of the delta - but I don't think it really works. The temptation to just use Ai was strong because it came up with some lovely images, but it felt too much like cheating.

This time, Good Shepherd gets the poster treatment. I kinda like this episode, though it feels a bit derivative of TNG's Lower Decks. I wish we'd have followed up with these characters.

A terrible episode - possibly Voyager's worst - and I made two posters for it!

Mortal Coil is next for the poster treatment. It's a pretty quick photoshop job, I think the colour scheme works well.

Here we have a poster for The Omega Directive. I really like this one, Jeri Ryan is great, and there's a neat Sci-Fi idea. I might have to give posters a rest for a while, because I think this one is a bit 'meh'. It's too easy and cheap to just slap a floating head on a colourful background.

I said that I'd have a break, but then I watched Repentence and the poster idea just popped into my head. I enjoyed designing the geometric men in the style of Juan Ortiz, who is my inspiration for making these posters.

Updated my old False Profits poster, removing the use of Ai. There are some variants that do use Ai, if you click through at the bottom. Terrible episode.

Also, updated my old Spirit Folk poster. Another terrible episode!

And finally, I did a sketch and gave it to chatGPT, along with a picture of Janeway - which made something pretty cool out of it. I'm useless with likenesses, so the ChatGPT version is way better than my sketching. This episode is the rather middling effort 'Sacred Ground'.

I made a poster for Drive. Hopefully it has a bit of an 80's vibe.

My poster for Persistence of Vision, a pretty good Season 2 offering.

OK, so this one's a bit subtle. See if you can tell what I've done. Anyway, this ones a cracker of an episode.

This time it's Juggernaught. A very simple story - but a well directed and photographed installment. There's two posters, a grimy horror one that I thought was in keeping with the episode and a cleaner variant.

Been really busy with work recently, but watched "One" the other day and was inspired to create a poster for it.

My poster for Prey, a cracking little episode. Tony Todd is excellent, and the story is really well written. The poster is inspired by the movie of the same name.

Here, we have a poster for 'Basics'. Originally, I had hand drawn the cave on paper with the crew and silhouttes in the distance. But it didn't really work, so I gave my sketch to Gemini and with some prompts to create my poster.
